Allison presents all new 5th GEN controls for Euro6 buses at Busworld Kortrijk 2013

KORTRIJK, Belgium, 2th of October 2013 – At Busworld Kortrijk 2013, Allison Transmission will showcase the breadth of its transmission and hybrid technology for buses and coaches, as well as its new and highly advanced 5th Generation transmission control system (5th GEN). Guests to the Allison stand will have the opportunity to view three transmission models including the popular T325R used in 12-meter city buses, the Allison 2000 Series, which is common in midi-buses and coaches with engines up to 172 kW and 705 Nm, and the H 50 EP™, Allison’s two-mode parallel hybrid system suitable for full-sized and artic buses up to 246 kW and 1424 Nm. New FORCAR forwarder with Allison automatic launched

This innovative vehicle, with a 15-ton payload capacity, is fitted with an Allison 3000 Series fully-automatic transmission for better handling, greater safety and smoother descents on forest pathways.

MADRID, Spain, 2th of October 2013 – Spanish company FORCAR (FORESTAL CARDELLE), headquartered in La Coruña, has equipped its forwarders with an automatic transmission for the first time. The FORCAR F210 is a productive vehicle designed for rapid movement on the narrow forest pathways of northern Spain. In addition to other new features, the latest model introduces an important drive train innovation: an Allison fully-automatic transmission equipped with a torque converter, which ensures superior performance and increases safety as compared to manual or hydrostatic gearboxes.
