Gas Engines

We offer a complete line of gas engines up to 10.3l displacement based on American automotive engines. They are available for industrial use, as gensets or in a premium version, prepared for the demanding application in co-gen units.
 
The following types are available:
1.6l 4-cylinder inline engine (14 to 43 kW)
OHC gasoline engine with 4 cylinders and overhead camshaft, originally developed for small cars. The camshaft is belt driven with a maintenance-free valve clearance adjustment by hydraulic tappets.

The 1.6l engine is available as industrial or genset unit and can be operated with natural gas (NG) or liquid gas (LPG). For industrial applications a gasoline version is also available.

3.0L 4-Cylinder Inline Engine (20 to 54 kW)

The 3.0l OHV engine has also 4 cylinders, but a gear driven side camshaft. Valves are actuated maintenance-free by hydro lifters together with push rods.

It is available as industrial, genset or co-gen engine and can be operated with natural gas (NG) or liquid gas (LPG). For industrial applications a gasoline version is also available. Co-gen version comes with premium cylinder head with hardened valve seats and electronic engine control with a close loop for extended life time. In addition, it has a water-cooled exhaust manifault to optimize thermal efficiency.

4.3 Liter, 6-Cylinder V-Engine (30 to 108 kW)

The 4.3l OHV engine has 6 vee-type cylinders and a bottom-mounted gear driven camshaft. Valves are actuated maintenance-free by hydro lifters together with push rods.

It is available as industrial, genset or co-gen engine and can be operated with natural gas (NG) or liquid gas (LPG). For industrial applications a gasoline version is also available.

5.7 Liter, 8-Cylinder V-Engine (42 to 125 kW)

The 5.7l OHV engine has 6 vee-type cylinders and a bottom-mounted gear driven camshaft. Valves are actuated maintenance-free by hydro lifters together with push rods.

It is available as industrial, genset or co-gen engine and can be operated with natural gas (NG) or liquid gas (LPG). The co-gen version has a premium-cylinder head with hardened valve seats and an electronic engine control with a close loop for extended life time.

8.0 Liter 8-Cylinder V-Engine (67 to 186 kW)

The 8.0l OHV engine is basically identical to 5.7l engine. It also has 8 vee-type cylinders and a bottom-mounted gear-driven camshaft. Valves are actuated maintenance-free by hydro lifters together with push rods.

It is available as industrial, genset or co-gen engine and can be operated with natural gas (NG) or liquid gas (LPG). The co-gen version has a premium-cylinder head with hardened valve seats and an electronic engine control with a close loop for extended life time. In addition, it has a water-cooled exhaust manifault to optimize thermal efficiency. Most of the auxiliary equipment of the well-known GM V8 engines can be used.

10.3 Liter V8 Engine (limited prototype production 70 to 200 kW – or more)

The basic concept of our 10.3l OHV engine is similar to the 5.7l engine with 8 vee-type cylinders and bottom-mounted gear-driven camshaft. Valves are actuated maintenance-free by hydro lifters together with push rods.

It is available as industrial, genset or co-gen engine and can be operated with natural gas (NG) or liquid gas (LPG). The co-gen version has a premium-cylinder head with hardened valve seats and an electronic engine control with a close loop for extended life time. In addition, it has a water-cooled exhaust manifault to optimize thermal efficiency. Most of the auxiliary equipment of the well-known GM V8 engines can be used.
